Bart is stuck in textures

Plz help!Bart is stuck in textures. its location can be seen if you click on the quest, then he immediately disappears .I cant continue quests!

Store his tree house in inventory and then take back out and he will appear outside of it. You will loose credit for task that he was on but you'll get him back.
