Failure to find matches in multiplayer

Whenever I enter the multiplayer portal it keeps saying failed to find match. And I can't go online in any other EA games either.Is there a problem with my EA account settings?

I occasionally get the "failed" message on PS4; I find that if I wait about 10 seconds or so I can then use the Portal normally; but if you keep charging in repeatedly you'll just keep getting the same error.
