CANT LEVEL UP ANYONE

PVZ WONT LET ME LEVEL UP ANY CHARACTERS. I CAN PLAY A MULTIPLAYER GAME, GET MY CHARACTER TO LEVEL 10, AND WHEN I GO BACK IT RESETS AND DOESNT SAVE. WHATS THE POINT OF HAVING A LEVELING UP SYSTEM IF IT DOESNT WORK!!!! PLEASE HELP ME

Thanks everyone for providing the information so far.

I know some of you have already provided the requested information but I think this thread is becoming a bit messy because it seem as though there's two different issues being reported. I've now created two new threads for the different issues. If you can post your details in which thread applies to you then that will help us investigate the individual issues.

• Unable to promote characters
• Losing XP after a match

I have the same problem but it got to level 12 and then broke...

There is definitely a bug which seems to be affecting Xbox and PC players, I haven't seen any reports of it happening on PS4, which seems to be pretty wide spread at the moment. Another issue which would cause this is if you were somehow playing as a "Guest" which would prevent your progress from being saved- the game would (should) notify you if this were the case however to make certain that you wanted to proceed anyway.

Guys, i've had a similar issue and i just posted my gamertag and the platform i was playing on and EA resolved it. Maybe if you do that they will look into it...

I'm on Xbox 1, and after playing as scuba diver some more, it now says that it's level 41, and will not level up any more

I hit level 10 with one character, when I go to the stats room to do it, the promotion works and the character is a level 1 specialist. However as soon as I jump back into the multiplayer portal, the character is a level 10 again immediately with no specialist badge. Even if I wander around the yard shooting weeds to get the character some XP as a level 1, he's automatically 10 again as soon as I jump into a portal.

Having similar issue. Game isn't properly tracking rainbow stars I earn, coins I earn, or exp earned on some characters.

I've now leveled Toxic Citron from 8-10 three times, but when I leave the match he appears either level 8 or 9. Also Stuffy Flower doesn't appear to be counting experience either.

At the same time, I can level up my zombies without any issue that I've noticed.
