How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play any of the dogfights in single player campaign. Might need to play slowly/badly, I got it 2 out of 4 dogfights.
What happens when the bug occurs? In single player campaign. The last enemy plane is in the clouds out side the combat area so I can not shoot down and finish the mission. Tried both gun and rockets but can not reach. Happened both in practice and over London. See attached screenshot, it clearly illustrates the problem.

Try restart the mission.

It's probably just a Bugged situation in the Single player.
Try to restart the mission again and again and see if it works once.

It's happening to me too, restarted it multiple times and it happens every time.

I know this is an old thread, but it is still happening today on PS4 and rather annoying.

EA please don't ignore this issue and fix it.

Like many others, I had to restart the campaign mission several times before that plane that is outside of the quest area could be attacked.
