Bejeweled stars Emoji Icons missing when playing offline

Okay since the latest update the emoji icons won't load when playing offline.  It used to work perfectly.  I verified it by making sure the icons were there.  I exited the game and disabled all internet connections.  When it loads back up you can't see the emoji icons.  So when you win an emoji you can't see what it is and you can't play the daily riddle/question as well.  

Please fix this.
