3 Stars: Levels 398, 426, 460

The Bejeweled site indicates it is possible to get three stars on every level without the use of powers. However, I played 426 far too many times before resorting to the use of multiple high-impact powers. Perhaps the verbiage on the site should be revised?

I find using tileswappers to produce hypercube is more efficient use of gems.  Two (and sometimes one) tileswappers can produce a hypercube and use less green 4 vs 20, less orange 2 vs 3 and no yellow vs 5.

I do "mine" gems on many of the lower levels as they can be played quickly.

Yes, thank you Bill_G_III for your advice re level 426. I used your strategy and managed to achieve 3 stars my first time (just now). Score of 300,600. But I went in guns ablazing as I had been forewarned. Thank you so much!

cloviscat01 - You may already know this, but the chicken is a great source of green gems. Feed him treats or watch ads. You'll never be short on green gems. Thanks for the tip re level 9. Going to check it out right away!

I had to throw a stupid amount of the heavy-hitting power gems at Falconry to finally get 3 stars. I'm embarrassed to admit I spent waaaay too much money on it (but it was the only level I was missing three stars!).
