Moved HDD with games on it to new computer

I've recently built a new computer and i moved the HDD over from my old one and changed the directory to where my games are installed on said hard drive but, Origin isn't detecting them as installed and says i have to re-download all my games. I was wondering if there was an easier way to do this. Any help would be appreciated.

How to install a Origin game using a backup, Battlefield 4 used as an example.

1. Save your BF4 backup from “Origin Games\Battlefield 4″ somewhere else
2. Start the BF4 download in the new directory for 2 minutes
3. Exit Origin
4. Copy over the backup, overwriting all files
5. Start Origin again
6. Look at Origin verifying the files, setting up the changes in the registry and downloading the last files
