I do not know if a SIMS 4 DLC pack has been activated to my account, i do not own the base game and thereford i dont know if i have accidently redeemed a dlc code instead of a game code which i do not own

If you have redeemed a code in Origin client, game or DLC has been added to your EA Account. Does your DLC shows as owned in Origin Store? If you are still having troubles finding you items, you should get in touch with EA Advisors directly https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/
