Battlefield Hardline Won't Start

Every time I click "play"  on Battlefield Hardline, the Hardline cover goes slightly gray, then returns to normal color. After that, nothing happens. It doesn't open my web browser or any error reports or anything. Please help. I am running windows 8 64-bit,  my processor is an AMD FX(tm)-8320 Eight-Core Processor (3.50 GHz), and I have 8 GBs of RAM. I am also using Google Chrome as my web browser, but i can switch to Explorer or Firefox if needed. (Google Chrome x32)

I figured it out, I had to change from google chrome being my default browser to firefox.

Hello

Close Origin, then try the following:
Run Origin as Administrator: Right-click the Origin icon on your desktop and select Run As Administrator. Restart Origin and try launching your game.
Temporarily disable anti-virus software that may be prohibiting Origin from being able to function properly. Restart Origin and try launching your game with the anti-virus off to see if that solves the issue. If so, you may need to adjust the settings of your anti-virus software to exclude Origin.

Try to do it:
Go to the folder Origin.
Find the file there called OriginER and run it.
Select the items that are appropriate for your problem.

Try disabling the "Origin in game."

I did everything you said and nothing worked, so now I am just waiting for a response from the Origin Er.

Also I can play battlefield 4, and I was in the Battlefield Hardline Beta.

I am getting that problem yes. Just intiates for ages then says to close bfh with task manager.

BF4 and BH Alpha worked as well

I'm sent to Firefox and nothing happens from there

Goto Origin application on desktop (Make sure to run as Administrator) then goto the hardline icon and click the (i) symbol next to "Play" then goto game properties and disable Origin in game by clicking the box
