Battlefield bad company 2 on steam - serial key issue

Hi,

I recently reinstalled Battlefield bad company 2 on steam. I was asked to connect to my EA account and to enter the serial number for the game. EA tells me that the code is already used!

I played that game many hours 2 years ago with that same code, I don't understand what is happening. I need assistance

Please make sure you use the same EA Account that you used two years ago. Also, I recommend to contact Steam or EA support:
