Hello there has been a bug for a long time that many people on ps3 suffer from, that is veteran status will not show for some reason. I have max veteran status but yet no F2000 on bfbc yet , I think it has something to do with having the veteran status on xbox360 with more time played, so my vetran status show on my xbox360 account BDB Freerider but not on my ps3 account UnkpetFreerider and both account are linked to my EA account so it should be showing.

Skill levels not updating for anyone, as well as veteran status.

Did you try to reinstall Battlefield Bad Company?

Hi Preston, that will not be an option as it is a game disk for ps3.
