Unable to get battlepacks from premium purchase (original 12)

I recently purchased Battlefield 4 Premium. With the purchase I was expecting 12 battlepacks in addition to the monthly rewards. While I receieved all the monthly premium content without issue the original 12 battlepacks are not available. Upon loading Battlefield 4 I get two error messages. One indicates that the battlepacks could not be loaded. Then it is followed by "disconnected from EA servers". I would very much like to use all of the items I purchased.
