Could you please tell us on which platform you play Battlefield 4 and provide a few details about your internet connection as wells routermodem? Even when you tried various workarounds already, it might help us if we would actually know which workarounds you have already checked.

It is working again now, it's very on and off

I play on xbox 360

I've tried resetting the internet, clearing the memory cache, and other suggestions people have put up, my internet is DSL and that pretty much all I can tell you with that unless you ask specifics I'm not very knowledgable in that area.
