Single Player campaign keeps crashing (PC)

I bought BF4 about 2 weeks ago and since then have been unable to progress past the Dam level because the game keeps crashing whilst loading the level.

Then due to some save game corruption it set me back to the previous level, but at least it loaded, so I thought 'oh well, I'll just play from there'. Now THAT level is crashing out at a certain point.

Is there a known fix for this?  I've updated to the latest version but to no avail. Pretty bummed I can't keep playing this game I bought.
