I do want to add in that there is an additional bug that some players may blame on the netcode.

Hitmarkers sometimes dissapear, while the server will still register the hits and reward you the kill, hitting escape twice will usually fix this for a kill or 2. It does not happen in every game, but when it happens once, it continues throughout the entire round for roughly half the players you shoot at.

Also, thanks for your efforts DICE, we know EA pushed you to release this game without allowing enough time for bug fixes. The improvements you've made so far make a huge difference, and i look forward to the day this game runs as designed.

Examples.
I should have recorded some.

1. Hardcore HIt detection is way off, I shot a sniper in the face and he kills me behind cover 4 seconds later.
2. No hit registration with vehicles
3. Random extremely large jumps when jumping over fences or flying backwards really fast.

4. Randomly dying with killed in action when either you just spawn in the game or you take a step

This is my example.  I had Network Smoothing Factor at 10% here.

It says scrim highlights but its a joke(for all ym bad hitreg etc). I am a competitive player so this stuff is pretty srs.

Hello,

My PC is too weak for me to record videos while playing, but I can precisely describe what happened once.

My internet connection never had any issue, in FPS games or in any other usages, so the network smoothing factor was set to 0.

What happened:

1/ Waiting behind a corner where this was enemy-crowded behind, I fragged a first enemy poping out

2/ For the 3 others I fragged in a row, the hit marker was blinking fast for about 0.5 seconds, before they poped out the corner

3/ Consequently, this was usable as a wallhack: as soon as I was seeing the hit marker blinking (I was not shooting at all at this moment), I was very aware of the enemy about to come in, so I could start shooting in a predictive way

4/ Indeed, all those 3 enemies came out exactly a few milliseconds after the strange hit marker was blinking for no reason: the behavior was consistent

Regarding the main issue of the thread, I never met an "untouchable" enemy. Very often (every 2 minutes), I get like 0.5-2 seconds hangs (with sound loops meanwhile), that I didn't meet in BF3. This is probably due to 64b playing on Dual Core (CPU lag or so), but it may also be a network-retaining-data reason. When this occurs, I get hands off keyboard and mouse, to help spike recovery (not stacking more movement or any action on the overflown CPU). My PC resources are clean when launching the game: antivirus or any other listener process is closed, all useless apps or Windows services too: just origin (the hanging lady), 1 firefox window/tab for battlelog, and bf4.exe.

In the end, I'm not sure those issues are related to the netcode, but maybe of intense CPU usage spikes on the "untouchable" player side, making him network-underflowed or something alike, for he spike-recovery period on his PC.

"Conversely, there are similar videos that won't be useful in this instance, and we'll ask you to refrain from posting these.

Such videos would contain: damage/hit marker delays, server lag, and being killed before you see the enemy. This is an example of what we're not looking for: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXnUCN335dQ. "

So you are not looking in the lags and rubberbanding problems? FFS, these issues are even worse than not getting hitmarkers sometimes! I can't even play this game with this bad rubberbanding.  Look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6INlVpasJb4

I have a good connection, please tell me that DICE working on the rubberbanding issues, too.

Just that half of the clips are of him just being bad at the game.
