Your Punkbuster service migh be got unistalled. Goto your control panel see for Punk Buster Service. If it is not there you have to downlod and install.

Watching for PnkBstrB instance change

Reinstall PunkBuster to fix the problem.

1. Browse to your Battlefield 3 install folder and open pbsvc.exe.

2. Select Install/Re-Install PunkBuster Service, click Next and wait for the installation to complete.

   You will be fixed
