since the last patch (before the mantle update) i suffer from lags that come up every 5 seconds. the game ran perfectly before the update.
my specs are:
AMD FX-8350
AMD Radeon R9 270x
Soundblaster X-Fi
8GB RAM
i changed the api in the settings to mantle, but it didn't change anything
is anyone having the same problem or know a fix?

ok, I found the problem. i made a clean de install of the amd 14.1 beta drivers and installed the 13.12 drivers and suddenly the lags vanished and i was no longer kicked by punkbuster. very strange...

are you talking FPS lag or rubber banding?
cuz I'm having mad rubber banding issues.
The passed few days I've also had directx crashes as well.

i suppose it's rubber banding, because of my hw i shouldn't get fps lags. i also turned down the details from ultra to high and it changed nothing.

Hi, do you have any other programs runnign in the background while playing?
Also try this:
-make sure that you've updated your drivers to latest version (or the version that was working before the error occured).
Choose a 'clean install' (usually in the advanced install options)
-Disable Origin in game.
In Origin - Application settings - Origin in Game - disable Origin in game
-Reinstall Punkbuster.
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4 and select pbsv.exe . Choose 'reinstall'

I think I may have found a solution.
Disabling Killer Network Manager (comes with MSI motherboards) and the firewall and antivirus modules in ESET Nod 32 seem to have fixed this issue.
I hope it will work for everyone else with this problem.
Good luck!
