Added another question: 

What we need to know is

• General Location (state or city)  
• ISP
• PS3 model (if they don’t know the model number then Original/120GB Slim/ Super Slim will do) To locate the model and serial number of the PlayStation 3 system, look on the back of the system and locate the bar code sticker. Underneath the bar code you will see the 11-digit serial number followed by the model number which begins with "CECH".
• Are you using a disk or digital on-demand version of the game?

go to network settings, go to manual setup, confirm your IP address click automatic setup when it asks for your primary DNS, go to custom and enter thiese addresess Primary 208.67.222.222 and Secondary 208.67.220.220, then disable UPnP, complete settings, run test, and should pass, when completed, go disable Media Server Connection.
