PC version of Battlefield 4 stays on loading screen eternally!

[ Edited ]
★★★★★ Novice

I literally cannot start the game at all. I get as far as the loading screens and it just stays there forever till I alt+tab out and end the processes. I even downloaded the latest Nvidia drivers released yesterday but nothing is working.

Specs.

Cpu: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition 3.4GHZ
Mobo: MSI 890GXM-G65 Gaming Edition
Gpu: PNY GTX 650 1GB GDDR5
Ram: 8GB Gskill Ripjaw ram
HDD: 1TB Samsung
Os: Windows 7 Ultimate 64

Anybody else know of possible workarounds?

Same problem, I get stuck on loading game forever and sometimes it blackscreens with the music playing or sound. It's really pissing me off. I have tried everything and nothing works.

Guys, try this: Navigate to your BF4 folder  "Origin\Battlefield 4\__Installer\vc\vc2012Update3\redist" and install the 2 apps. One of those, will ask you to re instal... Just re instal than play.

Report back if it works ok? Wink

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately I tried it and it didn't fix the game for me. I am repairing the install now to see if there are any problems. I even tried the Punk Buster fix and nothing is working.
