PC - assault kit causing crash

Hi, I've got the PC version and every now and then I've been having crasshes where the screen goes black and freezes and I have to ctl alt delete to close and restart battlefield.

At first I couldn't work out what was cuasing it but the other night I was trying to unlock some weapons with the assault calss (previously my least played class) and I noticed I was getting this crash more frequently. As I was playing the time intervals between crashes keept reducing. At first I could play for over 30 min as assault without a crash but now it's down to about 4 or 5 min. I have no problesm playing as any of the other classes.

It doesn't seem to be triggered by a particular weapon or action other then only happens whilst I'm playing assault.

I tried restarting the game, checking video drivers up today (gforce 680), repairing install, restarting entire coumpter. Nothing seemed to have any effect on the crashes.

At the moment I fell like I'm missing out on 1/4 of the game
