No ps3 to ps4 upgrade code bf4

I purchased battlefield 4 on black Friday and I got my ps4 on Christmas but I didn't get the upgrade code with my battlefield 4. Is there any way I can get a code or someone can give me theirs? 

I have no games to play on my ps4 because I didn't know I needed a code to upgrade my games.
