hey folks,

sorry if this is the wrong place but I Just bought BF4 today "Digita download"

was able to play online on medium settings no problem for about an hour or so before random crashing (game sudenley lags bad to the point were its unplayable and eventually stops working)

usually leads to "unresponsive script" and I have to cntr, alt, delete to bring up task manager just to get back to desktop.

I have lowered settings to low and still get the same issue, also switched from 64 to 32 version.....still not fixed, same issue.

I dont have a powerful pc by any means but I had no problem running the game initially on medium so Im not entirley sure that my PC is even the problem,

"according to can I run it I should be running the game fine on low settings at least"

From what Ive read it seems like a huge amount of people are having crash issues (regardless of PC specs)

I was wondering if this is likley to be fixed (if it is a game issue or at least a problem on EA's end) since I can apparentley be refunded within 24 hours of purchase, although Id rather keep the game if this is resolved in the near future.

PC specs are as follows:

AMD a8 6500 apu with readon HD 8570d

3.50ghz

windows 8.1

RAM 8GB (7.21 usable)

I know its not very powerful but according to what I have read I should be able to run this game on low settings no problem however the crashes are getting annoying.

So is it worth hanging on to the game or should I get refunded? (if no fix is likley to happen Id rather buy something else .......most likley not EA based)

Cheers

If EA/Dice wanted to help us so much, then this thread would be updated more often.

Remove and reinstall everything.  It's a long process, but it should fix your dlc issue.

I'm having an issue with the assignments in game.  Battlelog shows that I have finished some of them and even has the awards unlocked, but at the end of every in game round they show me the progress for those assignments again as if I hadn't ever done them.  It seems they are all DLC assignments that do this.  Is there a known fix for this issue or am I just stuck looking at them every time?

Thanks in advance.
