Hey @YoungChompie,
have you already tried completely uninstalling Origin, deleting the cache, rebooting the PC and then re-downloading and installing Origin?
I would be very cautious when it comes to downloading single .dll files from the internet, they usually come from third party websites which are not necessarily trustworthy.

Where are the locations for the cache?
Are they all in the locations stated before?
I have been trying to update origin and have had no luck, reinstalling from my game disk was my last option and i'm presented with the same problem.

Hey @peapod50,
just to double check: Did you also uninstall and reinstall the latest version or Origin - including opting in to the Beta client?
You can download the client here.
You can opt in to Beta clients by launching the client, going to "Origin -> Application Settings" and choose "Participate in Origin client beats" under "Client update".
