I had the same trouble with DirectX! I really tried everything, but nothing helped! Now i found a solution! I just gave my graphics-card more power! I use the R9 280X from Gigabyte! You can give it about 6-10% more power via ATI-Control-Centre!

Since i did that i had no trouble anymore!

i have this same problem....

and will all you sad little [bleep]s **bleep** off and stop hijacking this and other threads about this specific error with your own different problems....

this error happens if you change anything from default......

it is not a power issue....

it is not an overclockin issue.....

game was workin fine....think only thing i done was run hwinfo....unless ea/dice/origin done a stealth update.....and now the only way it starts is if i remove the profsaves. files......then it loads but i cant play as i use arrow keys not wasd.....wont let you change a thing.

china rising becomes available to me tomorrow (dec 17th 2013) and i wont be able to play it....i paid for it though...

For those with the xinput_9_1_0.dll issues this link fixed all my problems.  I had tried every other solution.
