Cant change graphics settings

Battlefield 4 wont allow me to change the graphics settings and I get a message that says "graphics settings cant be changed on 32 bit operating systems." Iam in fact using a 64 bit version of windows 7, so not being able to adjust the settings when I should be able too is a little frustrating.
