Can't Play BF4 (Red screen of death)

I have reinstalled windows and installed the new AMD 13.11 beta 8 Driver and can not run BF4. As soon as the game loads and I click it my computer goes to a red screen and the sound loops. It does this everytime I open BF4 and the only thing that has seemed to fix the issue was disabling crossfire.

Windows 8.1 64bit
Power color 7970 x 2

Is there a reason the game won't run with crossfire enabled? Thanks.

I installed the 13.11 beta 8 drivers. and fixed my red screen of death. I am not running xfire. but switched from the 64bit bf4 to the 32 bit bf4.

sorry this may be late to post on the forum and most people probably figured this out by now.

if theres anyone using a 144hz monitor and is encountering the RSOD, try lowering that to 120hz (both monitor settings and in-game settings) and enable crossfire. 

This worked for me
