Black screen crash pc

I seem to be having a problem with BF4. I start a game fine, and can be playing for anything between 5 mins and half an hour when suddenly my screen goes black. Not only can I not play a full game, but also all progress that I've made in game is lost. My pc is decent spec, and can run all other modern games with no dramas. Is this a known problem?
