So we just got this game for Christmas and I have the Slim model XBox as well. Now I didn't know about the hard drive requirement, nor did I pay attention to the cover. We just openend it and tried to play. Now I have a game that won't play and I can't even return it to Walmart because they don't take back opened video games. So now I am stuck and I am livid. This is a very dirty trick, I can't believe they would require a hard drive in an era where the 360 is basically at the end of it's lifecycle, and flash/streamming technology is the trend, not hard drives. So my question is, can I use any hard drive that works with a slim, or only the official Microsoft hard drive? I have seen some cheap ones on Amazon for about $25, but they are not a Microsoft drive, but instead a third party. I refuse to pay $80+ to get an official Microsoft branded drive for just for one game that I may or may not even like. I would reluctantly get a cheap one if I knew i would work. Does anyone know if any hdd would work?
