Everyone on the internet knew that you needed a harddrive for BF4.
You should have doen your research.
It also says so on the box.
Few weeks before release every major gaming news ran an article that you need at least 12 gigs for MANDATORY BF4 install.
Besides, owning an xbox without a harddrive is like owning a car without wheels.
So get off your peasant ass and either A. get a hard drive or B. Sell Game

This is B***S***
I Would love an explanation from EA as to why this problem exists?
The preivious game was optional downloadable content. No problems.
Have now spent AUD$80 on a game i cant play despite having 4 GB storage free. exchanging for the new call of duty. No reasonable justification why you wont let people use internal or other storage devices?
This one requiring an internal Xbox HD. Why not an external one? Whats wrong with using the existing internal memory? I have the space free to download the content but am not allowed to.
JUST WANT A JUSTIFICATION WHY???

No ! Nobody buy a hard drive . I have a hard drive a 250 gb and it still doesn't work . It says disc is unreadable ,I already tried it 3 times with different copies of the game . WTF!
That is a problem either with the disc or withi your console. Have you tried your disc on other people's consoles? Since you tried using multiple copies of the game I think the problem lies with your console. BF4 works well on my 250GB Halo Reach 360S and on my Gears of War 3 320 GB 360S.

I've spent some time looking for a resolution to this. I cannot find any as of yet but I would encourage anyone having these issues to report Electronic Arts to the Better Business Beureu in hopes that they can offer a refund or a fix.

You can try to report EA to the BBB but the front of the Xbox BF4 game case clearly shows purchasers via words and picture that a "Hard Drive required" for BF4. Halo Reach also had this exact requirement for online COOP play, and Halo 4 required either a HDD or 8 or 16GB USB stick for online play so there is precedence for this by Microsoft and the requirement is most likely driven by Microsoft and Xbox's technology limitation and not a design choice by EA.

I honestly can't believe you people just sit there and probably laugh your asses off at us who are disfortunate on having a slim version of a console. As a recently new father wich is an avid gamer i can tell you WITH fact that i'm not the only one, who can't afford spending YET another 120bucks on this "**bleep**" of a game. And you just sit there NEGLECTING probably 50%(or more) of your playerbase but **bleep** that's how EA rolls though they get your money and leave you stuck with **bleep** that won't work ... eg : SimCity , BF4 servers(pc), BF4 on xbox. Don't you people realize what you did ? THERE is nowhere and i repeat NOWHERE on the box that states you need a "Microsoft HDD" to play this game. you can brag all you won't about how it works on your GOW 320gb and what not ... That's not even close to offering some sort of aggreement(Oh there is one SPEND 120bucks more and you can play a game!) no wonder everyone is feeling duped. Myself ... I own a 1 TB external HDD by WD wich i use for every other single game ... and it works fine so why can't you people get your head out of the cash heaps you made yet again and fix this for people ... the game allready recognizes there's no microsoft HDD in your xbox ... how bout making it detect Flash drives or external flashdrives(memory sticks EG.) I honestly think this is some stupid **bleep** to get rid of microsofts stock of HDD and you EA you aggreed to duping your customer. I can honestly say this whole **bleep** is a scam to earn more money of something stupid ... We as gamers have rights to and how would you feel if you bought something you can't even enjoy ? how would you feel if you spend money on something and it doesn't even work properly.... you guys are seriously and clearly in the wrong i wonder how much money your cut in the "sellling of microsoft hdd's" will give you. And here's an idea how about this : BATTLEFIELD 4 COLLECTOR'S EDITION : contains Battlefield 4 and an microsoft HDD instead of some crappy DLC **bleep** we can't get till december when most of us own a PS4 ... GG EA(again) well played you won i give up.
EDIT : This doesn’t seem to be a problem on the 12GB PS3 which also has a flash memory... **bleep** OFF EA and MICROSOFT wauw you people suck !
