Also, why is left right movement in jets inverted????? Why cannot I change this?
never mind, figured that out. Y ou need to re-map right yaw, etc. By pressing right on the axis you want. It's preset to Right yaw = Axis left.
But only shows Axis X1.

In other words : please consider making the controller work and do exactly the same as the xbox 360 version of the game, which I imagine wouldn't be too difficult since it's already coded.

Ran into this poor support with Battlefield 3 which is why I held back on Battlefield 4 and I'm glad I did.
If DICE can't be bothered to implement the same controller support that every other game I've purchased in 2012-2013, then I can't be bothered to buy their game. This goes for two of my friends as well. We all play on a HTPC.
CoD for me this year again until DICE gets on the ball.

Im so glad somebody else mentioned this. I have been flying jets with left trigger as throttle down for years now. I cannot be expected to dominate the skies without that key binding. FIX THIS NOW EA!!!

Hey EA,
If making xbox controllers work on a pc before fixing PC CONTROLLERS for the pc is your priority just say so...I'll never buy another port of yours again. The pc joystick controls are apparently hosed...how bout you fix the controllers made for pcs? Played this franchise from the very first battlefield...bf3 started the crap control problems...joystick never worked right. All the previous versions were pc joystick perfection...see me in a chopper, tank etc and u die...bf3 on...see me in chopper spinning in circles and crashing into the ground...xbox controller fans save your insults i'm not interested. EA if you make a pc game make it work with pc controllers...what is wrong with you people ? Actually what is wrong with me I bought SimCity and am considering buying this.

I wish I had known that the xbox controller support for this game was so limited. I sold my console for a reason. My PC is far more powerful. I just paid $69.99+taxes for a AAA title to play on a PC that cost me $1500. I can barely play it without having to reach for my mouse to get out of hints and menus. Going into gun lockers is a pain. Maybe EA should consider that many people own HTPC's and play on big screen TV's. This is why I prefer Steam. I hope they do something about this. Also, guessing what button on my controller coresponds to the keyboard bindings is less than immersive.
