Battlefield 4 keeps crashing on PC [Jan 9]

Keep crashing with Mantle/DX11, crash with no error, game just freezes and I have to kill task.

Well I recently re-installed the game after playing the hardline beta and I was always crashing,   My fix was easy   Disable anti-aliasing fixed it for me after trying to fix it for 2 days now.

It was set by default to 2X    Turned it off and voila.... FIXED!

ok all I may have sorted all those directx hang errors after all these months, but I wont know for sure until more and longer testing. 

I have my tv and a small monitor and a wide screen hd 24in.  When I play games I am usually watching xbmx or kodi on the tv via my pc on the left.  On the right I have a 1024 1280 monitor for the net and then in the centre I use ahd widescreen 24in,  I started recording using shadow bf4 abnd went to a specific map that crashes all the time, I disconnected the other monitors through the pc so I was on 1 single monitor.  4 games later I still hadn't crashed, that's unknown for me.

Im gurssing I cant keep my monitor and tv on with bf4 playing, yes its sam this might be a cause of my 8 months issues but at least now I can test it out.  I will come back and let you all know if that works.  God I hope so cause this game is doing my head in.

ive been playing all night on a single screen and no crashes, as soon as I put my other 2 screens on one is tv for xbmc the other just shows some stuff it crashes all the time so im guessing its a game that doesnt like multi monitor for multi tasking or my gpu doesnt like it, either way its a huge let down.

My problem is that Battlefield 4 crashes everytime in about 1-5mins when the game starts. Picture freezes and I must go task manager to kill the process and I can see in battlelog that it says "Transitioning".

I've spent solving this issue for 3 days now - WITHOUT ANY RESULTS! Tried reinstall windows from Win 8.1 to Win 7 (fresh install) then upgrade to Win 8, then again fresh installed Win 8.1 Pro x64 back again (all of them licenced and fully updated) with all official recent hardware drivers. I tried almost every possible way to "fix" all kind of bugs in BF4 I could found on forums (believe me).

I'm using latest omega drivers from AMD and Mantle, without mantle FPS aren't stable at all and much poorer performance (but they were before also on directx11 - before Winter Patch I guess).

I am 100% sure it got something to do with the game it self and/or in combination with AMD graphic cards and it's drivers.

Before the patch I remember I've recieved multiple times sound-loop crash.. but now with "new" patch a new crash error!

So please please get us a fix for this.

16GB DDR3 1667MHz

Gigabyte R9 280x 3GB GDDR5

128GB SSD (OS) + 1TB HDD (BF4 installed on HDD)

Windows 8.1 Pro x64 - fully updated

It crashes all the time for me on siege of shanghai, which is a real nuisance.

Got crashes since the winter patch....

Sometimes (I guess every 15 minutes of gameplay) when I die BF4 just stops working.

Before the winter patch I never had this problem.
