So the first time I try to fire the game up after the new update and I am getting this MSCVR.dll pop up error, game wont start. I have to close the pop up about 15 times before it goes away for good. I did a game repair, did not work. The pop up is telling me I have to reinstall but I really do not want to do that. Any ideas?

Well unfortunately, you will have to do a re-install. If the repair option failed, you MUST do a full re-install.

Hello @MadBum_MVP
Try the following:
Go to... \Battlefield 4\__Installer\vc\vc2012Update3\redist and install vcredist_x64 (for win 64-bit) or vcredist_x86 (for win 32-bit) and reboot your PC. If it doesn't work.
Try to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package and Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package:
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package:
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86)
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x64)
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package:
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x64)
After, reboot your PC.
