I don't like saying "me too" cause I know it provides no help at all, but I'm in a similar situation. I went through all the troubleshooting with the Live Chat, which with the language barrier was quite difficult. Anyways, I ensured everything was good in services.msc, ran pbsvc.exe and that all turned up fine. PB is fully up to date with A1390 C2.350. I've uninstalled and reinstalled PB and BF4 3 or 4 times each, and I've tried the repair install as well. This is getting VERY irritating, as I've never had this issue, and all I got from the Live Chat was bad English, a bunch of minor solutions that had already been tested, and then told to talk to Even Balance cause there is no more they can do. Don't mean to sound like a *, it's just been an irritating two days and have gotten minor help

Same problem here; tried virtually everything including the troubleshooting page on the punkbuster website. All the suggested fixes from older threads arent working. Interestingly I found one thread where people who had recently reinstalled/upgraded windows were having this problem; tonight is the first time ive tried to play bf4 since upgrading to 8.1. Highly annoying as I was looking forward to a few beers and some good old conquest large. Confusedmileysad:

Guys I think I found a fix. I disabled my Anti Malware and I'm not getting kicked..... also running in x86. Try both.

1. Open windows firewall
2. Click advanced settings( on the left) and then inbound (also left)
3. Find PnkbstrA.exe and PnkbstrB.exe (if you have two of both, its fine)
4. Right click on each of them>properties>programs and services
5. Make sure that "all programs that meet the specifications" is checked
6. Then go to the "Advanced" tab and check all 3 boxes. Domain, Private and Public.
7. REMEMBER TO DO THIS FOR ALL PnkBstr Files. Then save and quit.
8. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4 and delete "Pb" folder.
9. Go to these 2 links:
http://websec.evenbalance.com/downloader/download.php?file=1
http://www.evenbalance.com/downloads/pbsvc/pbsvc.exe
10. Download and install both
11. Run Pbsetup.exe (the first link)
12. Add a game (eg. bf4)
13. Check for updates.

This does not work. I did this and still got kicked for the same thing. The latest version of PB for BF4 is (v1.902 | A1390 | C2.350) the issue seems that these servers are out of date on their PB versions.
