I can't log onto the gametime for bf4, and I did not play the earlier one. It asks me for a key and I have not received one and it also says my time expired even though I have not even started the game yet.

Try the following.
1) Remove a game and close Origin.
2) Go to C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Services\License Delete all of the files in there. Ensure origin is closed when you do this.
3) Go to regedit (Windows+R and write regedit)
4) Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE=>SOFTWARE=>Wow6432Node=>EA Games and you nee to remove a folder Battlefield 4 ( or game time). Save changes.
5) Reboot your PC and reboot you Internet (Modem or Router)
6)Download and Install and Test.
