My battlefield 4 keeps crashing.
It crashes whenever I try going on a server, sometimes before the map starts loading, but most of the time it crashes as I hit the button to deploy.
I am not given an error message, i am given the "Battlefield 4 is not working" Windows Error message.
I run AMD drivers
I have no clue what could be causing the problem but i am assuming it has to do with the "Non-Plugin" version of BF4.
I am able to play the Test Range and at level 76 have not before had a problem with BF4 crashing.
My Specs:
HARDWARE
AMD FX-8320 Cpu
8GB Dual-Channel DDR3
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 Motherboard
2048MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 6900 Series Video Card
SOFTWARE
Windows 7 64 Bit
AMD Catylist Version 15.7.1
If anyone could help I would really appreciate it - KingHoopla

Alrighty, I got it.
Found this gem in the windows event viewer, I have marked the problem in red.
Even though I use DX11 in Bf4, AMD still ruins everything....
The fix I found is to turn off the Anti-Aliasing in Bf4, now it is only a workaround but it works (if you like not having good distance graphics)
Right now it looks like the HD 6xxx card is the source.
Somewhere I read that updating to the 15.3 beta drivers should fix it.
If it does fix it i'll post again.

A few questions I have for you:
1. Which web browser are you using to launch the game?
2. Are you sure all your drivers are up to date?
3. Since you are using AMD, are you running DX11 or Mantle?
4. Are you running BF4.exe as admin?

1. Google Chrome
2.Yes, Just checked.
3.Mantle Driver Version 9.1.10.0077
4.I launch Bf4 through origin, like I said no problems before but I will try it.

Ok thanks.
First off, you will want to switch from Google Chrome for now, as launching has had issues since Chrome dropped support for the plug-in. I would recommend Firefox. After you switch to the browser of your choice (Firefox, IE or Edge), download the plug-in for the browser, and make sure to REBOOT/RESTART your PC after installing the plug-in, or this may cause issues if you fail to do a reboot. Second, I would advise to uninstall Mantle, and run DX11. Mantle has been abandoned by AMD and was never fully released, and was in Beta at the time, and will no longer receive any future updates. As for the last part, I understand you have it in Origin, but running it as Admin is set in the file explorer. You open up your file explorer and find where your Origin games are saved. Find the BF4 folder, and then right-click on BF4.exe and select "Run as Administrator".

I should have mentioned that I do use DX11 (As many things use it).
I have tried un/reinstaling the plugin but when i went to uninstall it didn't exist in my browsers or control panel.
And I cannot get the plugin from the battlelog website anymore (as i do not think it is even accepted by battlefield).
And Firefox joined the anti NPAPI so I dont think it will use the battlelog plugin.
As for running as Admin I will be doing that from here on out, hasn't changed anything yet.
I am still confused on how I can play on the Test Range and Campaign

That is indeed correct.

Try using the Plug-in launching instead of the "Plug-in Free Launching" system. There have been alot of issues with it since it is a brand new system.
