BF4 summer patch (28/10/2015) not downloading correctly on ps3

I have tried downloading the file several times, and each time it's got stuck at a different point in the download, around the 70-80% mark
the estimated download time also starts to go backwards when this happens, although this is fairly common so I can't say f it's related or not

This issue stops me playing the game entirely, so any help is appreciated.

I will persevere with installs and try to download via USB to see if it fixes the issue in the meantime

Hey @willwedgy

It seems unlikely that the download would start if this is the case but have you checked to see if you have enough storage space left on your PS3 HDD before downloading?

I'd also check your game data to see if there's any current DLC for this patch on your system - delete this before trying the download again.

Let us know how you get on with the USB download.

after about several more attempts the download worked normally, I'm not sure what caused the issue.
all up it took several hours to get the DLC running, but it is working fine now from what I can make out.
