BF4 doesn't start after december 2014 update!!! Help!

Yesterday I start BF4 and a mandatory Origin update and then a BF4 update messages appear.

After installing the updates the game doesn't start anymore!

 

When I click on the BF4 desktop icon (32 or 64bit link) nothing seems to happen. Looking at the task manager I see the bf4.exe in the list for a couple of seconds then it disappears. The same thing if I directly run the bf4.exe from the installation folder.

Starting the game from origin, the browser starts showing me the battlelog, but when I try to join a server or I try to start the campaign, the bottom bar display the message "JOINING SERVER" for ever... sometime after some seconds of waiting, it displays a popup message saying "We're sorry, it looks like your game didn't start properly".

 

I already done:

 

- Uninstalled and reinstalled the battlelog plugin

- Cleared browser cookies, temp files, browser history, ecc

- Tried to start the battlelog from another browser (I normally use firefox ver 34.0.5)

- Repaired the game from Origin "Repair Game" option

- Reinstalled the nvidia video drivers

 

What can I do now?!

Please help me!

 

Configuration:

- Windows 7 64bit

- 8 GB RAM

- Firefox 34.0.5

- Nvidia Video Card

The problem is referring to Comodo Antivirus/Firewall I've installed.

 

Following the steps indicated in the post above, I solved the problem.
