I'm having the same issue. It's really frustrating to say the least to get suckered into paying $120 for the map packs and premium for this game and it isn't even close to being finished. Don't get me wrong the game is fantastic, WHEN IT WORKS.
I'm also having a huge memory leak problem... I've updated the drivers to the beta and ended up rolling back because they didnt help a bit. Most of the time I can make it through a game or two before it freezes up and then I have to go into the BIOS and reset the DIMM voltage just to clear it. Simply restarting doesn't help. GET THIS FIXED DICE! BF4 is the only game that causes the RAM to max out like this.
I called EA the day after the release of this game and while they were exremely friendly offered no help to this issue. I see 10 days later after the game is launched not much has changed? Also had one "red screen" crash and multiple random game crashes.
I even tried the regedit trick and it didn't help either.

Something just hit my mind and I'd be happy if you could shed some light on it for me.
We know this issue is most common with Windows 8/8.1 in combination with HD 6950/6970.
What I'm interested of knowing is:
Do the majority of you guys with the memory leak problem also run a dual monitor setup?
Edit: Nope, not related... I guess that "fix" was too easy =/
Edit2: Oh, and it turns out this was a problem for some people in BF3 already http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/forum/threadv
I haven't played BF3 since I "upgraded" to Windows 8. Any of you have this in BF3 and Win 8?

I'm getting the same problem. Funny thing is, the game ran smoothly with Catalyst 13.11 Beta (don't know which) until yesterday, which is the day I bought Premium lol.

I had an error with DirectX for 11 days:
DirectX function "device->CreateTexture2D( &texDesc, desc.subResourceCount != 0 ? reinterpret_cast<constD3D11_SUBRESOURCE_DATA*>(desc.subResourceData) : 0,&texture->m_texture2d)"failed with E_OUTOFMEMORY ("Direct3D could not allocate sufficient memory to complete the call."). GPU: "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780", Driver: 33165. Free virtual memory: 4290706292kB / 4294967168kB. Total resource memory:0kB. Make sure you have a supported graphics card with at least 512 MB.
I had the virtual memory disabled in Windows 7 because I have 8 Gb RAM. When I enabled virtual memory and changed its size to 2Gb - an error with DirectX disappeared, so I've been playing BF4 for two days already without almost no problems (except, of course, those tons of in-game bugs lol). There's a kind of memory leaking in BF4 or it just needs this SWAP-file aka virtual memory I dunno...
This is the official Windows instruction on how you can enable your virtual memory: http://windows.microsoft.com/is-is/windows-vista/c

I can attest to that. This was happening in BF3 for me, and now is happening in BF4. All repost I've seen suggest this is only happening to folks with Radeon graphics. Behavior is such that when my memory (16GB) fills up the game begins to stutter and seemingly goes into slow-motion. It will eventually crash. Upon crash I check the performance monitor and see that ~95% of my memory is supposedly in use. The only way to release the use of this memory is to reboot my computer.
I'm not sure when the memory is being claimed in BF4 (during game-play, or when the map is loading), but in BF3 the memory leak would apparently begin when the map would load for the next round.
My OS is completely up-to-date, I have the latest AMD Beta graphics drivers. Crashes are all too frequent!!!!! Please EA, AMD fix this!!
Here's my latest BF4 crash results:

@cucobr: It is a possibility.
Sometimes when I alt-tab to check task manager if the leak occcurs between map loading, the non-page pool hardly goes above 350MB.
However, I usually only play 2-3 games consecutively in a server, so I'm not sure if it will help in longer runs.
As for my case, the leak always kick in during my 3rd round.

After Simshiddy 5 and now this. I am really done pre-ordering any kind of EA games. When I saw dice used EA as thier publisher since BF3 I knew right away we would get this garbage from them. NO MORE! They will not get my money again.

Imagine if EA came out and gave us all discounts on Premium for admittedly releasing a bugged untested game
ROFL that is not going to happen... they dont give a crap about you me or anyone who has problems... they are receiving the monies for the game already. We all bought it... depsite the BETA being broken....
we only have ourselves to blame...
the only way we can respond is by not purchasing from them again....
