BF4 Launches then disappears even though the BF4.exe is running in taskmon

If you are having trouble with BF4 not working in multiplayer and the issue is the BF4.exe client is running but quickly disappeared from your taskbar, check and see if the game is in fullscreen windowed mode.  If so take origin offline, launch the game, change to plain fullscreen, exit, online origin, and try again.  Worked for me when all else failed.

Mate i have the same with Bf4 its loads then then it dissapears

I was running BF4 in fullscreen borderless mode.

Changed it to just plain fullscreen.

Interesting how it was working in borderless mode for nearly a year, but now it suddenly started closing itself? 

Have DICE or Origin or Windows or someone changed something recently? Seen this problem cropping up quite a lot.

My roommate had the same problem, but all he had to do was click on the BF4 logo that poped up on the taskbar and it worked
