Air vehicle freelook glitch (PS4)

Has anyone had a glitch when piloting a heli or jet where it seems like the freelook button is always going crazy?

I can spawn in the attack chopper or scout and without pressing anything my view will start to drift off in a random direction. Sometimes its a slow drift, sometimes its wild and mad like I'm trashing the stick around. If I press up on the d-pad it centers my view again, but I have no free look.

I've tried 2 different controllers, both are the same.

There is nothing wonky when I spawn as infantry or in a ground vehicle.

Glitch has been persistent. can't really fly anymore.

I've been experiencing the same problem for months now. I have my heli buttons set to veteran so the only button for freelook is up on the d pad, and if i hold the button that is supposed to engage freelook then suddenly it acts 'normal' and stays centered disengaging freelook. The problem seems to be a continuous and nearly unavoidable freelook mode in the helicopters.
