Unfortunaetly the Gun Club website seems to be gone now so the only way to access the M1911 is to have a veteran status of 1 or greater which means that you've played BF3 and at least one other Battlefield game while logged into your Origin account. You can get veteran status very cheaply by buying a used copy of Battlefield Bad Company 1 or Bad Company 2 which should all be very cheap in the used section, or you can play one of the free web based Battlefield titles such as Battlefield Heroes http://www.battlefieldheroes.com/en/ or Battlefield Play 4 Free http://battlefield.play4free.com/en/ while logged in with your Origin account. These two titles will give you veteran status as well.

First you need to link your Xbox Gamertag with your Origin account
Step 1 - Go to www.ea.com
Step 2 - Click on 'Login' in the upper right corner, if you are already logged in, log out.
Step 3 - Now the login form pops up, ignore the textfields and click the XBL button below
Step 4 - A new window pops up that allows you to login with your XBL account.
Step 5 - Now that the EA Server knows that you are the owner of this XBL account and if you already have an EA account you can now login to connect both accounts. In case you don't have an EA/Origin account yet, simply click the link on the right side to create one.
Then the easiest way to automatically update your veteran status is to play the Battlefield games while logged in with your Origin account - this will automatically update your status. The veteran page here http://www.battlefieldbadcompany2.com/veteran is the next best way to update the status manually, for newer PC\Console releases it will automatically update when you hit "refresh veteran status" or play the games while logged in with your origin account. On the lower part of the page you can enter the CD keys for the older PC only games by clicking on the game's icon. You can also update the game expansions that do not contribute to your veteran status by selecting the expansion like Euro Force and then entering your Gamespy ID and password. If none of these work contact EA customer support: https://help.ea.com/contact-us
After you have linked your account and updated your veteran status the M1911 will be selectable from the soldier customization menu under Pistols. You will have the M1911, the M1911 suppressed, and the M1911 tactical. the M1911 S-Tac must be unlocked via completing an assignment from the End Game expansion.

Unfortunatly both the websites you have linked have been shutdown, but You said play bf3 and one of the bad companies well i own battlefield 3, 4 and bad company 2 but i still dont have the veteran status and its really confusing me. If you could answer my question that would be great.

My post referenced earlier was from 2013 and the games associated with the aforementioned links are now defunct. The most up to date version is now a sticky here: http://answers.ea.com/t5/Battlefield-3/Veteran-Status-getting-the-M1911-in-Battlefield-3-and-the-EA-...

Ok ik this topic is years old but I just want to as if bf games older than 3 counts because I have bc2, 3, 4, 1, and 5 yet, I still don't have the m1911. I just bought bf3 2 days ago and bc2 today but couldn't play because the game is pretty much dead.
