Try deleting or moving PROF_SAVE_body from Documents\Battlefield 3\settings
right click on the desktop shortcut for Origin,,
go to properties > compatibility tab > check off run as administrator > apply
and restart origin..( i restart whole pc just in case) and try again and let us know what happens.
try this:
go to settings in origin, then scroll down!!
1) Uncheck use cloud storage for all games
2) Delete settings folder in C:/Users/your name/My documents/Battlefield 3 (you can make a copy to save in case)
3) It should now work
*********************************************************************************************************************************
1. Click Ctrl-Alt-Del to run Task Manager
2. Find under processes Origin.exe
3. Disable it
4. Go to Battlelog and login
5. Join some server
6. Origin should now open when you try to join a server.
********************************************************************************************************************************
1) Goto the folder whereOrigin installed BF3 (C:\Program Files (x86)\Battlefield 3\ Battlefield 3™) (thats where mine was installed)
2) Rename the Battlefield 3™ folder to Battlefield 3 - (removing ™)
3)Start regedit , browse to the following key :
HKEY LOCAL MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WoW6432Node\EA Games
Change the GDFBinary & InstallDir paths to C:\Program Files (x86)\Battlefield 3\ Battlefield 3 - again removing ™
and it will launch fine
Note: when you rename the folder and edit the registry You have to make sure Origin is not running.
**********************************************************************************************************************************
To manually uninstall Origin, you will need to edit your system registry and remove the folders in a two-part process. This will remove all traces of Origin from your system.
NOTE: If you remove Origin, you will lose accessibility and playability to any downloaded games and manuals until you reinstall Origin.
Remember that editing your computer's registry or files incorrectly can severely damage your operating system. We recommend having a computer professional perform these steps. If you are confident, however, that you can edit your registry successfully, then please follow the instructions below carefully.
Remove the Origin program files:
Disable UPnP if you're on a router.
Do you have the game fully installed before trying to update?
If you're installing from disc, disconnect the internet & then install fully. Reconnect the internet before running.
In Origin Settings menu, Enable Beta opt-in, Disable Auto Updates.
"Bf3 Error while trying to join a game "
after recieving this message, go to you task manager (ctrl+alt+del) and terminate the bf3.exe process. also you can try going to origin and press right mouse button on bf3 icon and repair

1. If Origin is ON, kill the process.
2. Start your browser and Battlelog
3. Find the server you want to join and join it
4. Let Battlelog start Origin and the game afterwards
If Origin gets stuck (no icon in the bar, kill the Origin process, stop joining the server and try to join again).
For some reasons starting BF3 from Origin for me usually doesn't work at all.

Tried all this, none of it works.
1) Origin was already set to "Run as Administrator".
2) Cloud service was already disabled.
3) I cannot access battlelog if I try to enter the web address. ("battlelog.battlefield.com" right?!)
4) There is no registry key located at: HKEY LOCAL MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WoW6432Node\EA Games
5) My "bf3.exe" file is, in-fact, named "bf3.exe".
6) I did not try to uninstall Origin. It has problems downloading games to my PC. (Constantly dropping from 70-90% down to 10-20%!) If I uninstall, it would be AT LEAST a full week before I get all the games reinstalled.
