Punkbuster freezes my computer

Hello,

I have a problem with my battlefield 3, the problem is with punkbuster it makes my computer freeze and makes a weird noise. I have searched help in the forums, but none of them haven't helped me out..I just don't know what to do anymore..I waited for BF3 like a month and now it is not working..:/

Hi, it sounds like posting on the Evenbalance forums would be the best place for this.

I take it that you've tried Clean Booting, checking for conflicts, checking for windows updates and so on?

If it's crashing and causing a weird noise it might be worth checking for hardware issues too.

Well, I am not a pro with a computer but I have checked the conflict with Windows and punkbuster, but that didn't work and I have updated my drivers and so on..and I reinstalled bf3 and punkbuster, but I don't know what's clean booting and I don't believe that I have a hardware issue..:/
