Origin wont allow me to be online,?>

ì can log on to my origin account via the website and the log on app for battlefield 3.

although i can gain access into the origin window it says that im currently offline and if i should want to play i can to go online,

but it wont let me go online for some reason?

i need help in order to play

This may sound like a silly question, but did you check your settings in the pull down menu in the top left hand corner to ensure that you are in online mode?
