Origin can not find my installed battlefield 3 [ Edited ]

When I started my computer up this morning, and then went on to start BF3, it asked me of I wanted to download a patch. Of course I clicked "yes". The only problem was that it wasn't a patch but the original game with a 6 hours download time. Sidenote: I have had BF3 downloaded since x-mas at least, and I can find it in my computers origin files. All I wanted to do on my day home sick was to play battlefield. Please don't make me do homework.

Did you try to add game on origin by choosing the file from your computer? If you did not, then go to Origin, click on Origin => Add a Game... => Add games manually => then find BF3 game and add it. Hope it works.
