Origin Error 262145:5- Battlefield 3 Download error

Hi I have recently downloaded Battlefield 3 for origin download, but When I try to download it, I get Origin Error 262145:5 Please try again in a few moments.

Is this possibly because I am running Windows 8? Or I downloaded the game to quickly after I purchased it? Or is it because I chose a different directory to download the game and install it?

Most likely the issue is there because you are running on Windows 8 , try to run Origin in the windows 8 compatibility mode(As XP SP3 or Vista SP2) by right clicking on the origin icon

i was struggling wid tis problem, could not find any remedy thru live support or google. at the end did a system restore nw its working fine... i tink some programs i installed might had fcked wid origin..

I had the same issue and EA did not help, after few weeks of searching internet I

found working solution here:

You can't find solution browsing for that error but once you search for origin cannot

download games you find it
