Yes I have checked that guide. and Yes my brother is also playing Battlefield 3 on xbox. I dont understand what is wrong.

A shot in the dark but, does the router have different profiles for each connected device? Then you'd have to forward the ports for each device..

 To rule out that the router is the cause, you could try bypassing the router.

 

It could also be a problem with your Xbox!

I Dont think they are separate. Probably not because everything else is the same on both are xbox's. If it is my xbox, i am not buying another one, my xbox cost me $400.

I guess you can contact the place where you got your Xbox and explain your problem..

I had the same problem the way i fixed it was by deleteing my game save and starting the game again it worked for me. If not just check if your EA account is linked to your XBL/PSN account. I have a PS3 but it might help you so no promises.        Also your welcome in advanced

hey this simple steps worked for me:

 

Windows 8

  1. Navigate to the desktop.
  2. Hold down the Windows key and press R. (This will open the Run dialogue.)
  3. Type cmd and press Enter. (This will open a command prompt.)
  4. Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.
  5. Type ipconfig /registerdns and press Enter
  6. Type ipconfig /release and press Enter.
  7. Type ipconfig /renew and press Enter.
  8. Type netsh winsock reset and press Enter.
  9. Reboot the computer.
Windows 7
  1. Hold down the Windows key and press R. (This will open the Run dialogue.)
