Battlefield log Online game report points dont make sense

Reading though after reports I note that the points dont add up

If the General score is 3427 why is the Total score 1767 is this a lack of understanding on my part or is something wrong with the calculation, adn why no Vehicle score I destroyed 9 enemy vehicles

Vehicle score 0 ?   why no score I destroyed 9 vehicles

Total score 1767
