So I got BF3 as my free game from the SimCity deal and have yet to even get it to work. If I try to join a server it will say, joining server, then flicker, then a few seconds later pop up with Battlefield 3 Has Stopped Working.
I spent hours yesterday trying every fix in every forum and to no avail. Reinstalling bf3/origin/punkbuster does nothing also the repairing bf3 does nothing, tried disabling sspd and upnp, and since the game hasn't even launched once yet it hasn't generated a settings folder in documents/battlefield3 to delete. I have run in administrator mode, tried launching it from inside origin from outside origin and nothing works!
This is ridiculous as it should not take this much to get a game to run, if anyone could help it would be much appreciated.
