Forum Ignore person?

★★★★★ Guide

Ignore person does... nothing at all? I can still see their posts, I get notified when they post to threads and even to my own posts.

I think Ignore means you won't receive any Private Messages from ignored users and also, ignored users cannot see your Online status.  About AHQ Email Notifications you can manage them in your "Notifications Settings" or "Email Format"  http://answers.ea.com/t5/user/myprofilepage/tab/user-subscriptions%3Anotification-settings

Also, in your AHQ settings you can manage your Subscriptions and Bookmarks.

That is a relatively useless ignore function for a forum board.

Actually, among forums similar to AHQ, the function is relatively normal, in my experience.

My experience says otherwise. In most forums I frequent, I do not get notified by the board software that someone I am ignoring has posted to a thread or replied to my comments in a thread.
